The Best Cookies

These cookies are the best!  They puff up nicely, are light and delicious.  They are particularly good with milk, although coffee or tea would make a great substitute.  I recommend using them for bribing kiddos or changing moods of cranky spouses.  Enjoy!

-INGREDIENTS-

2 1/4 c all purpose flour
1 t baking soda
1/4 t salt
1 c softened butter or margarine
3/4 c sugar
3/4 c packed brown sugar
2 t vanilla
2 large eggs
1 1/2 c semi-sweet chocolate chips
3/4 c chopped pecans
1/3 c dried cranberries

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.  Stir together flour, baking soda and salt and set aside.
In another bowl, cream together butter, sugar and brown sugar.  Add vanilla and eggs, one at a time until incorporated.  Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, until incorporated.
Stir in chocolate, nuts and cranberries.
Drop by tablespoon onto an ungreased baking sheet.
Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool and enjoy!
